
Alexandra Rose Raisman, born May 25 1994 she is an American retired gymnast who was an artistic. She is also twice an Olympian. She was captain of both the 2012 "Fierce Five" and the 2016 "Final Five" U.S. women's Olympic gymnastics teams, who took home their respective teams competitions.At the 2012 Olympics in London she was awarded gold medals for the floor and team competitions along with the bronze medal on the balance beam, making her the most accomplished American gymnast at the Games. In the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, she won a gold medal in the team competition which made her and teammate Gabby Douglas the only Americans who won back-toback team gold medals. Raisman also earned silver in the individual all-around and for floor exercise. Raisman has silver medals from the all-around individual, and also for the floor exercise. She is also two times a national champion in floor exercise (2012 and 2015), and the champion of the national team in balance beam in the year 2012. She is also five times medalist in the national all-around championships (silver bronze, silver 2011, 2012 and the year 2015). She was inducted into International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame (2013).
