Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a popular American actor and singer. She is born in 1980 and is a Michigan native born and raised by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) as well as Tom Bell (a TV news director). She is from Polish origin (mother), and German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen discovered a passion to perform on an early age on stage. When she was in 1992, the actress went to her first audition and won a role in Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell's mom signed her up with an agency before her 13th birthday. She then appeared in television advertisements as well as newspaper advertisements. Along with learning in private classes in acting, she launched her career in the year 2000. Bell was credited as a character in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School, where she was a member of the drama and music club. She was a part of Dorothy in the high-school production that was The Wizard of Oz. Bell was accepted to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theater upon graduation. Bell dropped out of school in 2001, and began taking on the character of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. In 2001, Bell was the first to make her credit debut with the role of Becky Pootie Tang. But the film cut her character from the film and she only appears as a credit. Bell made an appearance on Broadway for the first time in The Crucible, a revival with Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
