Awkwafina Awkwafina, an American actor and singer, began by releasing a humorous rap track dealing with issues related to sexual and race. The career of the singer and actress grew to Hollywood when she dropped an album of raps. Nora Lum began her musical career as a musician on the trumpet. Born in Forest Hills Queens, she was the daughter of Chinese immigrants and Korean immigrants. Alongside classical music and jazz, Nora Lum began studying hip-hop in her teens. In school, she concentrated on the field of journalism as well as women's studies. She studied Mandarin during a time in Beijing. However, it wasn't until she graduated when she decided to turn her attention to music. Her My Vag song, My Vag which was her response to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick, became a viral hit across the Internet and eventually appeared on her first LP Yellow Ranger. The album also featured viral hits like the body-positive Queef as well as the cheeky hometown tour NYC BitcheUSD. The track that was second on the album linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide published in 2015. This was an additional project. As a musician and an author in her portfolio, she decided to began looking for a third endeavor actor. Aside from early TV shows like Girl Code and Tawk, she's also appeared in movies including Neighbors2Storks and Bad Rap. In 2018, she landed an array of noteworthy performances, which included Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. The EP was released by In Fina We Trust in June of the year.
